Exclusive: Inside Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s vibrant mehandi
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are married, and the actors’ fairytale wedding, held in February 2022, was just as beautiful and star-studded as we had expected. And in Dandekar’s words, it was: “The most magical day of my life!” The duo tied the knot in not one but two ceremonies—first in an intimate vow exchange at Akhtar’s parents’ Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi's Khandala home, and second, a registered marriage in Mumbai. In honour of the special occasion and to kick off the destination wedding celebrations, the bride’s long-time friend and designer Payal Singhal, along with Dandekar’s manager Nehali Kotian, co-hosted a fun-filled mehandi party. “As a long-time friend #PSMuse and OG PS Girl, it was a given that we’d be a part of Shibani’s wedding celebrations,” she shared with us.
