Leveraging the currency of collaborations comes yet another winner from design maven Payal Singhal as she ties up with PAIO, the PETA approved vegan shoe label to launch The Payal Singhal x PAIO Festive Edit, a one-of-a-kind exquisite collection of designer footwear.
The range encapsulates Payal Singhal’s signature collection which is inspired by Gypsies and Bohemia with a moodboard of throwback styles from the wardrobes of 10th century gypsies—merry vagabonds who belonged not to regions and borders but to their shared stories. Each piece is designed as a separate, to ease its integration into a range of occasions.
The Payal Singhal x PAIO collection features a beautiful assembly of exquisite styles featuring a varied range of classic mules, sandals and block heels. Each of these designs are unique in their own way, taking a cue from the original theme of Gypsies & Bohemia. The idea behind the footwear was to keep the styles easy, flowy and chic and play with embroidery designs, tassels & lots of beads for this collection. The embroidery is a mix of thread work, leather embroidery, frayed tassels, appliqué and patchwork that creates 3D patterns. The palette consists of corals, pinks, blues along with classic black.
Staying true to the essence of PAIO, all the footwear is 100% cruelty-free. All the pieces are handcrafted by local artisans using locally sourced fabrics & materials.
