For the very-first Payal Singhal for Azorte collaboration, we take you on a journey through the timeless elegance of an era gone by. Our ‘Winter Garden’ collection is an ode to Payal Singhal’s enduring inspiration: the Mughal era, and its captivating history, art and architecture.
Steeped in the essence of Mughal grandeur, this festive pret line pays homage to the enchanting beauty of Mughal gardens. Still considered perfect symbols of the harmonious co-existence of nature and humankind, these gardens were influenced by Persian gardens and their charbagh structure. Their symmetry and beauty have always drawn Payal’s creative mind, and she creates a sartorial version with this line.
With a soft pastel palette of lilac, sea green and delicate pink, the collection channels the tranquil hues of a winter garden in full bloom. Muted, while also soaking in the Indian winter sun.
